The mist-veiled West Lake, the sails of the Grand Canal, and the teahouses hidden along historic lanes have long defined Hangzhou's slow and gentle pace of life. As coffee becomes a new urban language, it does not supplant the city's tea heritage. Instead, it encounters the timeless spirit of Jiangnan, giving rise to a new cultural dialogue.

文化的传播，从来不是简单的移植，而是在新的土壤中不断生长。茶与咖啡，看似来自不同文明，却同样承载着人与空间、人与时间的交流方式。坐落于杭州恒隆广场的 AIT COFFEE，便从这样的思考出发。有限的场地、分离的室内外空间，并没有成为设计的限制，反而成为重新理解咖啡空间的契机。

The transmission of culture is never a matter of simple transplantation, but of continuous growth within new contexts. Though tea and coffee originate from different civilizations, both embody rituals of exchange—between people and space, and between people and time. It is from this perspective that AIT COFFEE, located within Hangzhou MixC World, takes shape. Rather than becoming constraints, the site's compact footprint and the separation between its indoor and outdoor areas became opportunities to rethink the contemporary coffee experience.
