新榆园于2002年创立，生长于杭州西湖风景区的一个院落，院子有一棵百年榆树，因榆树木质坚实耐用，生命力强，寓意是要做百年餐饮品牌的，取名“榆园”。2013年翻新重建后，改名“新榆园”。“新”是一种年轻活力，是传承美食文化下创新与探索，是餐饮新势力在盛夏的新果实。

New Yuyuan was founded in 2002 and grows in a courtyard in the West Lake Scenic Area of Hangzhou. There is a century old elm tree in the courtyard, which is named "Yuyuan" due to its solid and durable wood and strong vitality, symbolizing the goal of becoming a century old catering brand. After renovation and reconstruction in 2013, it was renamed "New Yuyuan". "New" is a youthful vitality, an innovation and exploration under the inheritance of culinary culture, and a new fruit of the new forces of catering in the midsummer. 新榆园乐堤港店以“榆”为设计线索，整体基调采用温暖的米咖色系，结合室内绿植造景设计手法，营造出质朴、轻松的用餐氛围。 The New Yuyuan Letigang Store takes "Yu" as the design clue, and the overall tone adopts a warm rice coffee color scheme, combined with indoor green plant landscaping design techniques, to create a simple and relaxed dining atmosphere.

楼梯天井处悬吊的巨型枯木装置，搭配顶面的天光视觉效果，给楼梯中庭渲染出一副置身自然的感觉。
